Outdoor Recreation

Local efforts to promote the county as an outdoor destination are increasing visitation.

Lincoln County is home to new mountain biking trails, the nationally recognized Silver State OHV trail, which offers over 260 miles of backcountry riding, five incredible state parks, and thousands of square miles of public land to explore.

In partnership with the Nevada Commission on Tourism (Travel Nevada) and the Lincoln County Authority of Tourism (LCAT), tourism stakeholders recently developed a Destination Development plan with a 10-year vision to make Lincoln County among Nevada’s up-and-coming destinations, enticing visitors with a blend of world-class outdoor recreation, rural charm, and offbeat adventure.

Opportunities abound for service-oriented businesses to set up shop in Lincoln County and be part of this growing industry.
