Restaurants, bars, stores, motels and other retail establishments provide important amenities to residents and travelers alike.

Local efforts to promote the county as an outdoor tourist destination has helped to increase visitation. The area is home to new mountain biking trails, the nationally recognized Silver State OHV trail, which offers over 260 miles of backcountry riding, five incredible state parks, and thousands of square miles of public land to explore. Additionally, thousands travel through the county every day on U.S. Highway 93, a major north-south corridor. This all creates a need for local services, which make up a significant amount of jobs in Lincoln County, with well over 200 people employed at local retailers.
